Aioi Nakajima area is a triangle area where Satsunai river joins the Tokachi
river. Half of the entire area is mainly occupied with riparian woods,
the other half is occupied with meadow. At the area, we can see a lot of
flora and fauna that grow and inhabit at various condition such as a pond
and small waterways, and the scale of the woods and meadow.
A few people make some uses of the broad place, such as fishing at the
pond or the river, playing with the radio controller airplane or so.
However this area has the risk of the flood, because Tokachi river, Satsunai
river, and Obihiro river, these three rivers are met at here. In addition,
the Tokachi river meanders greatly at here. Therefore, it is worried about
increasing the water level exceed the embankment. |
